FUN FACTS
Cresta’s dynamic skills as a clinician are shaped by her vibrant life experiences. Cresta is a curious adventure seeker who loves plants, nature, animals, and human experiences. She has traveled to 17 countries (and counting), served as a Wilderness First Responder for a Wildland Firefighting Crew based out of Montana, and is not afraid to try (and master) a new hobby whether it is snowboarding, cycling, horseback riding, or unicycling. She is filled with random facts, is a “jack of all trades” and is a hands-on problem solver. She also has a knack for rescuing injured animals on the side of the road – most recently a federally protected Red Tailed Hawk! She earned the runner-up title of “Funniest Person” at her previous work setting and is the ultimate prankster.

Along with Austin City Council member (and breast cancer survivor) Natasha Harper-Madison, Cresta helped establish March 3rd as Lymphedema Awareness Day for the City of Austin. This proclamation was signed by Austin Mayor Steve Adler, and Cresta had the opportunity to be presented the Proclamation at Austin City Hall, helping to further awareness about lymphedema to the greater Austin community. Cresta even got to keep the proclamation as a reminder for her contributions in the lymphatic community.
